I really liked this book, I thought the what the Carlos saw his model was just to different from the way most media portrays heavy set women. I loved that she embraced her entire body, and was so willing to be free with herself. I also liked how she spoke about struggling with her body image for so long, and then realizing that her image was all in her head, and if she wanted to to be beautiful all she needed was confidence to see herself as beautiful. Very graphic, but also very realistic, the imagery was not for the faint at heart that is for sure. But underneath it all, this is the story of love, and romance, and I think that made the book so much better.
