Armed and Dangerous
So I don't know why, but I waited 3 months to pick up this book, that was stupid! I can't believe how much I missed these two. I want to be completely honest here, I FREAKING LOVE MICHAEL! I don't care that he's super closed off, and a killer, and sometimes moody! I LOVE HIM! And I get why Christina is apprehensive about opening herself up to him again. But she's perfect for him. And he's perfect for her. I can't think of a more compatible couple. In the midsts of all of this action and psychos that surrounds these two... there is a love story. A barely there, you-have-to-read-between-the-lines-love story, but one that I won't soon forget. I love how much Christina grew between the last book and this one. She is her own woman now, its clear that her time in captivity changed her, but it also strengthened her. Michael is back to Michael, but with one major difference. Now, everything Michael does is to protect Christina, I wish he would tell her, but its so evident. This is not a lovey dovey story my no means, and I think Ms. Campbell is really really amazing at characterization because Michael and Christina haven't changed, and its clear that they have a lot of work to do, but they love each other and they will make it work, or I will kill them both!
I can't wait to start the next book, I might start right freaking now!
