Willing Victim
Thanks Angie for forcing me to read this, now I know where you get your overbearing nature from... This title of this book is so damn accurate, its also one of the reasons I wasn't too keen on reading this one. But I have to say that I am so glad I did! This book is very different from others, these aren't hardcore kinksters, but by no means is this sex vanilla. Flynn is a lot to swallow I will admit that, but in a good way. I first perceived him as very blunt and cold. But I came to realize that its a coping mechanism, his preferences aren't normal, and he's been burned because of it before. So he ensures that a woman really, really, really, really wants to be there before he takes her further. For such a short read I have to say I loved how the relationship between Flynn and Laurel develops. I like the fact that she wasn't afraid to make the first move, and she pushes herself to continue making those move even if the situation is anything but normal. Great, fast HOTTT read! I kinda wish there was more book though, I would've loved to see them in a normal relationship, but still a great story. I will definitely be reading more from Ms. McKenna.
