I didn't know that this was part of a series, but I have to say I really liked the premise. Dominic Castillo is on medical leave from the Navy while his team is still hard at work on a mission. Then he called in to find and protect the sister of one of his tam mates, the very hot, showgirl, sister. I liked the relationship between the two of them developed. I think that every time Lara and Dominic were put within 30 feet of each other, they had to jump each other, and then they would both get scared. However, it was the interaction of the Castillo family that stole the show for me, I loved those people, they were so entertaining and loving. I have to say that I wish we got more Lara and her brother because that is a relationship that needs to be mended as well. The fact that Lara had no contact with her family for 8 years is very deep, and that is not the kind of thing that just gets fixed. Overall, I liked the story and I will be reading the other books in the series for sure.
